Zibo Daranfang Silk Group Co., Ltd. is a professional enterprise engaged in silk textile manufacturing and dyeing. It is the only silk producer in China that boasts a full industrial chain covering silk reeling, weaving, printing and dyeing, cheese yarn dyeing, design, as well as bedding and apparel production.
The Group currently has 10 subsidiaries, 9 production and management divisions, and more than 1,600 employees. It is equipped with 1,500 sets of various production equipment, including 300 internationally advanced Italian SOMET rapier looms. Its annual weaving capacity exceeds 16 million meters, ranking first in the world.
The Group has jointly established the Zibo Silk Ecological Dyeing and Finishing Technology Engineering Center with Tianjin University of Technology, and the New Functional Fiber Research Center with Wuhan Textile University. Before the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, companies operated on an individual basis, existing in the form of private silk cloth shops, dyeing workshops, and weaving workshops
In 1956, in response to the national call for public-private partnerships, many small workshops such as silk weaving, dyeing, and printing in Zhoucun area, based on the original "Jidong" silk weaving factory, 54 weaving workshops formed the first public-private partnership silk weaving factory in Zhoucun. Seventy-two dyeing workshops such as "Yide" and "Tianxingcheng" merged to establish the Zhoucun Jianye Printing and Dyeing Factory under public-private partnership. Later, they developed into the first Zibo Silk Weaving Factory and Zibo Silk Printing and Dyeing Factory respectively.
In 1966, when the Zhoucun Jianyue Printing and Dyeing Factory was officially transformed into a state-owned enterprise and renamed the Zibo Silk Printing and Dyeing Factory.
The year 2004 marked the restructuring and consolidation of four key state-owned entities—Zibo No. 1 Silk Weaving Mill, Zibo Silk Printing and Dyeing Factory, Zibo Silk Finished Products Factory, and Zibo Silk Wholesale Station—leading to the formation of Zibo Da Ran Fang Silk Group Co., Ltd. Through more than twenty years of dedicated effort under private management, the Group has emerged as a pillar enterprise within China's silk sector.
In 2007, Zibo Da Ran Fang Silk Group proactively responded to the national "Moving Sericulture Westward" initiative by establishing its subsidiary, Guangxi Shanglin Da Ran Fang Cocoon Silk Co., Ltd., in Shanglin County, Nanning.
In 2014, Guangxi Mengshan Da Ran Fang Silk Co., Ltd. was established in Mengshan County, Wuzhou City.
The current research and development team has more than 20 senior experts of various kinds and nearly 200 technical talents of various kinds, laying a solid foundation for independent innovation, integrated innovation, and joint innovation at all links of the group company's industrial chain.
The company has a professional silk inspection and testing center that can conduct fabric composition identification and physical index testing.
